There are only a handful of restaurants within Puerto Banus that have stood the test of time, all too often eateries within this area come and go. La Moraga will, I´m sure stand the test of time, because the concept and food available is superb. Situated opposite El Corte Ingles and formerly the sales office for Andalucian Dream Homes, this restaurant is constantly busy and has a real buzz. Taking the concept of tapas and mixing it with an almost Tepanyaki approach, you can see the food being prepared directly in front of the bar area.

There is a Japanese twist to some of the dishes, with Tempora and Yakitori a staple on the new menu. Memorable dishes include the most delicious croquettes I have ever tasted and their Cous-cous is fragrant and delicious. There is a good selection of wines, Cavas and Champagnes and the services is brisk and friendly. The great news is that the pricing is pretty reasonable too. If you are visiting Puerto Banus this Summer, you should definitely try this restaurant, don´t be put off if there is a wait, as the turnaround is quick and believe me the food is worth the wait.
