The vineyard investment mentioned in my previous post will be the pre-cursor to some really exciting new investment opportunities within the Almansa region. Interestingly the Castilla la Mancha local government is fervently supporting the project as it falls under the catergory of the agri-food grant scheme. In fact in two years when the Bodega is complete the government will give the developer up to 50% of the costs.
The goal will be for the production 100,000 bottles per annum, with the capacity to step up to a maximum of 1,000,000. Please note this high investment return project does not require that 1 bottle of wine to be sold in order to meet the guaranteed return of investment. There will also be further investment opportunities as the project develops including a boutique hotel on site.
